In this month’s KCL we will discuss the configuration & programming features of the Kinetix Motion Products. This session provides you with an opportunity to explore the latest features of the Kinetix Motion hardware. We will be reviewing the Kinetix 300, Kinetix 350, Kinetix 5500 & Kinetix 5700 platforms for Motion today. Our discussion will lead into the typical hardware layout, wiring, configuration, and setup of a single axis application.
In addition, we will explore the features for using a virtual axis. When to use over travels? How & when to use a home switch? What options does one have for I/O?
Tuning is always a good topic as well. In order to tune (optimize) a motion servo system, a number of control parameters require adjustments. What about the auto tuning? Maybe you have even heard about the tuneless system.
Please join us as we provide a technical view into the Kinetix Motion hardware. This will allow all of our motion users to have the latest knowledge on the Integrated Motion on EtherNet/IP™ (CIP Motion)!
